I enjoyed dancing from a very young age, taking part in Ballet and Tap classes. However, it was only when I discovered contemporary dance that my passion and interest really took hold. I loved merging an art form with a physical discipline and gained a BA Hons in Choreography and Dance from Winchester University.
As I learned more about dance, I realised how powerful and transformative it could be. I began working in care settings and started to use dance as a tool to improve the wellbeing and social lives of the people I worked with. I obtained qualifications in dance teaching for older people and falls prevention. I have extensive experience leading dance in community settings for people of all ages.
